 It's
famous for the fishing of coral, the reef of which carperts
the depthes; a fact that made the site a subject of outside
powers lust since ancient times.
TABARKA enjoys a remarkable location and a beautiful landscape:
a mountain of pine and mimosa over hanging the sea,and
bays broadsided by fine sand where fantastic peaks come
out as aresult of sea erosion.
What contributes to Tabarka's exclusivity is its club
of subaquatic sports and its internationally known festival,
which has as slogan "don't lie around in the sun!".
Today, with the development of the new touristic station
of MONTAZAH TABARKA, the port is worth the status of a
pleasure sailing port, peculiarly thanks to the 50 annulus
which provide all kinds of services worth of that satus:port
authority, travel lift, water,quay electrecity,technical
maintenance...
The marina, organized around the quays, proposes the most
complete of services: standing accomodation, gastronomic
restaurants, banks, pharmacies, shops...
That zone constitutes arrival line of navigators coming
from the north. It's formed by a chain of cliffs and fine
sand coves it offers exceptional possibilities to fishing
and to diving as well as background rich of numidian and
