A real enchanting haven. It's the first pleasure sailing harbours in Tunisia to have since the begining
every asset worth of a modern Marina.
The port and access channel sites were judiciously realized, consequently they are the best protected call ports in the mediterranean.
The port was settled in a headland called "RAS MARSA" (port head).
It is provided with all types of conveniences, links to the touristic station into which it is integrated: hotels of different categories a wide range of restaurants, bars, recreation facilities, 27 hole golf courses, car renting agencies, free shops, supermarkets, beauty shops, pressing, post office, insurance agencies, banks, pharmacies, doctors offices...
El kantaoui port represents a tastefully conceived and decoreted architectural mass with an arab-Turkish andalusian style.
The complex opens onto the immensity of the sea, onto the extensive olive tree fields and onto the island- like of cap-bon as such, EL KANTAOUI deserves its reputation as "garden port".
Furthermore, it's situated within a string of jostling coastal towns: Monastir which is an ancient fatymyd capital, Sousse overhung by its majestic ribat. Finally in the very background lies the holy town of kairwan famous for its high- quality wool carpets and the swarming animation of its markets.
