Presentation:

the festival started in may 1966 under the name of "cultural days of apricot-lpicking". on the 27th and 28th of may 1967, it became "national festival of maluf ". in 1969 it became " Maghrebin festival of maluf". in 1972 came the first participation of an andalusian band of flamenco music. finally, in 1979 it became the international festival of Maluf and arab traditional music.
the festival aims at advertising, protecting and improving the andalusian and arab music. it includes musical evenings, competitions and conferences.
