ORGANISATION

the festival is a cultural event organized by the tunisian federation of amateur film directors with the collaboration of the culture department and the contribution of the town kelibia

OPTIONS AND AIMS

the festival aspires to :

- encouraging the promotion and the distribution of non professional works of cinema
- Allowing non professional film directors to assess their own experiences
- Facilitating contacts between different national cultures

EXTRACT OF REGULATIONS

THE FESTIVAL INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING EVENTS /

1 - the official competition

Cinema Section:

a competition open to non profssional films of 16 and 35 mns. either silent or a recording, of every type and any origin, but of a maximum length of 20 mn.

Video Section :

a competition open to films of any genre S-VHS and beta, of a maximum length of 30 mns

N.B.: any cinema or video production entering the competition shouldn't be prior to 1997.

2 - an out competition section for films chosen for their artistic quality.
3 - an homage to a national cinema
4 - conferences and debates about cinema
